Hydrous Kaolin Clay
Hydrous kaolin is the feedstock for the calcined kaolin; water is still present in the crystal lattice structure.
Our hydrous kaolin is a low brightness material, and is widely accepted as a coating clay in ceramics and glazes, thanks to its excellent opacity and hiding power. It also serves as an extender in coatings, and as a hard clay in rubber systems.
