What will we leave behind as we move forward? The definition of legacy is "something that is handed down from a previous generation or time." At U.S. Silica, we strive to ensure our legacy is one of responsibility and citizenship.

Sustainability is a core value at U.S. Silica, and the highest levels of our leadership embrace sustainability - not just through words, but also through actions. In 2010, we established a Sustainability Council, which is sponsored by our Vice President of Operations and enjoys the active involvement of our CEO and President.

In 2011, U.S. Silica commissioned a Sustainability Report, a comprehensive audit of our impact on our employees, our communities, and our planet. We invite you to join us as we continue this discovery and evolution as a company and as citizens. The report will be published in the spring of 2012 and we look forward to sharing our Sustainability vision with you.
