Overview

In 2011, U.S. Silica expanded its presence in Illinois with the opening of the Chicago office. This office provides a home base for much of the company’s growth projects such as the new Resin Coated Sand facility in Rochelle, IL and the new plant in Sparta, WI.

The Chicago office is home to key personnel in Operations, Strategic Planning, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Human Resources. Located in Chicago’s Loop, the office is within walking distance to a rich assortment of shopping and service amenities and is easily accessible for travel purposes.

Community

Chicago employees continue their active involvement in both professional and non-profit activities. This carries on our company’s long tradition of volunteering time and talents to community activities, trade associations, and business forums. We believe this facilitates a relationship of stewardship within the communities we call home.

A parking garage is located at 177 North Wells St. between Lake St and Randolph. (Wells St. is one block west of LaSalle.) The garage is connected to the 180 N LaSalle building on the ground floor.

 Take I-80 E Joliet
Take the exit onto I-55 N toward Chicago
Take exit 292A to merge onto I-90 W/Interstate 94 W/I-94 W toward W Ryan Expy/Wisconsin
Take exit 51A for Lake Street
Turn right onto W Lake St
Turn right onto N Wells St
Garage entrance will be immediately on the left

From O'Hare Airport: I-90, Kennedy Expressway

I-90 East (towards Chicago)
Continue as I-94 East merges
Take exit 50B toward Ohio St E
Merge onto W Ohio St
Turn right onto N Wells St
Garage entrance will be immediately on the left after crossing Lake St

From Midway: I-55, Stevenson Expressway

I-55 North (towards Chicago) Exit to I-94 West/North (towards Wisconsin)
